About Body Composition Scan
The body composition scan is performed using a BMD Machine. It is a whole body scan which provides precise body composition analysis of the subcutaneous fat, muscles and mineral in your bones.
It shows detailed information such as the ratio between fat, muscle and bones in specific parts of your body. These data can help your doctors and/or trainers adjust your regimen if you are in a weight loss programme or if you are evaluating your fitness level as an athelete.
